The monograph considers general philosophical and socio-philosophical problems of political economy, the role of philosophy in the formation and development of economic science. The focus is on the modern Marxist labour paradigm in philosophy and political economy, in its comparison with the paradigms of economics, "philosophy of economy", theory of post-industrial society. The theory of post-industrial society (E. Toffler, D. Bell, M. Castells, others), which discovered the most important economic phenomena of modern society, and its various interpretations are considered in detail. The Marxist interpretation of this theory on the basis of the concept of "scientific", or "universal" labor, introduced by K. Marx, is substantiated. It is shown that the modern form of universal labor is computer labor as a production of abstract material structures. The origin of "scientific labour" is regarded as the reason for degeneration of value relations, commodity production and market economy. Considerable attention is given to the problems of modern Russia, analysis of market reforms, and the principles of Russia's development strategy in the post-industrial society.
