I would like to personally welcome you to Low Carb Good Fat. I have created this book to share my story since discovering this way of eating. This is me, Daniel Vincent, before I discovered Low Carb Good Fat. Like most modern Westerners I started my day with cereal, had a mid-morning biscuit, sandwiches for lunch, then an evening meal - meat with a good serving of potato, pasta or rice. Every6monthsorsoIwouldgoona health drive counting calories or adopting a high-carb low-fat diet, I'd lose 2-3kg before relenting to the hunger This is me now, this is not my "after" photo, I'm still on my journey, but I am 13kg and 6 waist inches down In September 2016 I discovered the Low Carb Good Fat way of eating. After consideration, the science of this way of eating made perfect sense to me. In October 2016 I decided to make the change to this way of eating. Honestly, it wasn't that difficult The foods I could now eat were the foods that I love. Cheese, cream, eggs, berries, olives, avocado, broccoli etc. Best of all, I wasn't hungry I had never before experienced this in my life, I was always hungry before my next meal was "due." This was when I realised that I had previous felt "tied" to food and I felt free. To this day I have not felt hungry and, for me, this makes this way of eating easy. I eat enough each day to meet my needs but can do this at a time that suits me. My life no longer revolves around "when is my next meal?."
