The report presented considered Radioactive Waste Management & Fission Products Separation of the Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor (LFTR) as one of the most promising and advanced molten salt reactors of the proposed six new generation IV (GIV) reactor technology. The large thorium resources in Egypt together with the unique advantages of LFTR highly recommend this type of reactor as a possible advanced candidate for any future Nuclear Program. The report discussed the front end including thorium abundance thorium, ore processing and thorium production. As far as the liquid fluoride reactor is concerned the reports discussed in brief the thorium fuel cycle, reactor performance, reactor design and reactor safety, finally the report dealt with the resulting nuclear waste and the fission products separation.
