This book Key Stage 2 Maths is for 10 and 11 year olds. Some of the initial work will also be useful for 9 year olds. It concentrates mainly on Arithmetic and Algebra, these being the building blocks of mathematics. There are tests on each topic and the last test (Test 26) has mixed questions which should give some indication of how much a given pupil has progressed. Aim to get at least 60 -70% of the questions right. Each test is good for a starter lesson or for a 10-15 minute homework or indeed self-study.
