The concept of hell, since the first decay of human body, has been a matter of great concern for living human beings. The ancient concept of torture and sufferings in fire of hell for eternity is assumed to bring searing pain for to the living. The present study brings in limelight the horrendous myth of hell. The concept of existence of hell and its horrors is discussed in detail in the selected works of Strindberg and O'Neill in light of a new framework i.e., Sartre's Theory of Being, Specifically theory of Others. The work elaborates how Sartrean framework of "Others" makes the works of both the authors more close to the concept of hell in company of other humans rather than traditional red hot pokers. The work introduces and defines the concept of hell by justifying it with appropriate literature review. The work, in divided parts, discusses various angels of the specified works of two remarkable authors Strindberg and O'Neill.
