The study was conducted at the Department of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, K.R.C. College of Horticulture, Arabhavi, University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot, during kharif season from June, 2011 to December, 2011, to know the influence of foliar spray of plant growth promoters on growth, yield and quality of daisy (Aster amellus) cv. Dwarf Pink. The experiment was laid out by adopting Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD), having ten treatments (different concentration of growth regulators and their combinations) with three replications. The plant growth promoters were sprayed six times viz., 20 and 50 DAP at 1st crop, 80 and 110 DAP at 2nd crop and 140 and 170 DAP at third crop. Among the growth promoters the plants sprayed with the combination of Gibberellic acid (150 ppm) and Brassinosteroid (0.5 ppm) resulted in significantly maximum growth, flower yield, quality parameters were also observed in plants sprayed with the combination of Gibberellic acid (150 ppm) and Brassinosteroid (0.5 ppm).
