The second part covers the period from the Battle of the Jutland to the unrestricted U-boat warfare. It describes the Battle of Jutland and its aftermaths leading to the U-boat Campaign. The third and final part of the book deals with the U-boat Campaign, a naval campaign fought by German U-boats against the trade routes of the Allies.

O autorze

Reinhard Scheer (1863-1928) was an Admiral in the Imperial German Navy. At the outbreak of World War I, he was promoted to Admiral and given control of the High Seas Fleet. Scheer led the German fleet at the Battle of Jutland on 31 May - 1 June 1916, one of the largest naval battles in history.
