A lot of people love IKEA. The other day at the laundromat, I counted three out of five customers carrying their laundry in blue IKEA shopping bags. And I was only one of them, which still makes the statistic fifty percent. IKEA is the home furnishing vernacular of our time. It deserves a greater literary tribute than an annual catalogue of its wares. It also deserves better than this silly potpourri, but it's a start.
