The Puritans met the error, but it probably had its hey-day - until now, that is - in the 1870s in England among the Gospel Standard Strict Baptists. With the coming of the internet, however, eternal justification has now begun to reach a much wider audience. And if it takes hold and grows, the effect on the preaching of the gospel will be unspeakably bad.
