Protected natural areas attract the attention of visitors for tourism activities, however, these activities can sometimes produce negative impacts on ecosystems. Taking into account the aforementioned narrative, the tourism service provider is key in the conservation of the environment due to its role as an intermediary between visitors and natural resources. Throughout the chapters of this book, themes are developed that lead the reader to recognize the importance of environmental behaviors in the sustainable management of protected areas. Tourism service providers in Puerto Morelos National Park, Mexico have been the subjects of study, where the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TCP) was the theoretical model used. Among the results it stands out that social pressure, perceived facilities to perform an action and attitudes are elements that shape the intention to act responsibly with the environment.
