This work is interested in deciphering the language of young people and its representations in comics. This is not a new phenomenon. Other generations also had their codes. But today the phenomenon is more widespread because of the greater capacity of diffusion of these idioms thanks to the media (television, radio, records, clips, internet), much more present than before. This essay therefore has a sociolinguistic stake since the purpose of linguistics is to study the language of young people under their sociocultural aspect. Sociolinguistics studies language by taking into account external factors (economic, demographic and social factors) and not by considering only the internal linguistic structures (semantics, syntax, phonology and morphology). It considers the evolution of language in a social context. Our sociolinguistic study of a variety such as "youthful speech" takes into consideration a wide range of social components, depending on the issue at hand: the age variable, the sexual variable, the geographical variable.
