AWIC2009 is organized by the Machine Intelligence Research Labs (MIR ? Labs-http: //www.mirlabs.org), VSB-TechnicalUniversityofOstrava, Czech Republic and the Institute of Computer Science, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Conference has attracted submissions from several parts of the world and each paper was reviewed by three or more reviewers. Dr. Ajith Abraham is Director of the Machine Intelligence Research (MIR) Labs, a global network of research laboratories with headquarters near Seattle, WA, USA. He is an author/co-author of more than 750 scientific publications. He is founding Chair of the International Conference of Computational Aspects of Social Networks (CASoN), Chair of IEEE Systems Man and Cybernetics Society Technical Committee on Soft Computing (since 2008), and a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Computer Society representing Europe (since 2011).

Welcome to the 6th Atlantic Web Intelligence Conference (AWIC 2009), to be held during September 9-11, 2009 in Prague, Czech Republic. The conference will be held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University, Prague. This building has a convenient location in the historical city center, in the area called Lesser Town close to local attractions like Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.
