Dr. Sourav Dhar is currently Professor and Head of the ECE Department, SMIT. His current research interests include IoT, WSN, remote sensing, and microwave filter design. He is a member of IEEE, the IEEE-GRSS society and IEI, India. He has published more than 30 papers in SCI/Scopus indexed international journals and at conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for Wireless Personal Communication, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and several other journals and conferences.
Dr. Subhas Mukhopadhyay (M’97, SM’02, F’11) holds a B.E.E. (gold medallist), M.E.E., Ph.D. (India) and Doctor of Engineering (Japan). He has over 30 years of teaching, industrial and research experience. Currently, he is working as a Professor of Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, Macquarie University, Australia, and is Discipline Leader of the Mechatronics Engineering Degree Programme. His fields of interest include smart sensors and sensing technology, instrumentation techniques, wireless sensors and network (WSN), Internet of things (IoT), wearable sensors, numerical field calculation, electromagnetics, etc. He has supervised over 40 postgraduate students and over 100 honours students. He has examined over 60 postgraduate theses. He has published over 400 papers in different international journals and conference proceedings, written nine books and forty-two book chapters and edited seventeen conference proceedings. He has also edited thirty books with Springer-Verlag and twenty four journal special issues. He has organized over 20 international conferences as either General Chairs/ Co-chairs or Technical Programme Chair. He has delivered 356 presentations including keynote, invited, tutorial and special lectures. He is a Fellow of IEEE (USA), a Fellow of IET (UK), a Fellow of IETE (India), Topical Editor of IEEE Sensors journal, and Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurements. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Sensors Council from 2017 to 2022. He is Founding Chair of the IEEE Sensors Council New South Wales Chapter.
Dr.Samarendra Nath Sur is Assistant Professor at the ECE Department, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, India. His current research interests include broadband wireless communication, advanced digital signal processing, and remote sensing. He was the recipient of the University Medal & Dr. S.C. Mukherjee Memorial Gold Centered Silver Medal from Jadavpur University in 2007. He is a member of IEEE, IEEE-IoT, IEEE-SPS, IEI, India, and IAENG. He has published more than 40 papers in SCI/Scopus indexed international journals and at conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for the International Journal of Electronics, IET Communication, Ad Hoc Networks, and IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.
Dr. Chuan-Ming Liu is Professor at the Department of CSIE, National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan, where he was Department Chair from 2013 to 2017. Currently, he is Head of the Extension Education Center at the same school. He has published more than 80 papers in various prestigious journals and at international conferences. His current research interests include big data management and processing, uncertain data management, data science, spatial data processing, data streams, ad hoc and sensor networks, and location-based services.
