Nach ihrem Studium 1975 lebte sie als Stipendiatin des DAAD in Südfrankreich und eröffnete 1977 ihre private Zeichenschule in Karlsruhe. Sie arbeitet sie als freie Malerin in Karlsruhe.Die Simultan-Methode entstand 1999, nach 22 Jahren Erfahrung und Beobachtung der Wahrnehmung innerhalb ihres Unterrichts.
