The Authors: Wolf Bloemers is Professor for Remedial and Special Education at the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg (Germany) and honorary doctor of the State University of Zaporizhzhya (Ukraine). He is the co-ordinator of some European Socrates funded programmes.
David Johnstone is a Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University College, Ormskirk (England), where he is course leader to the degree programme in Disability and Community Studies.
David Rodrigues is Professor for Special Education at the Technical University of Lisbon, where he is co-ordinator of some Master study programmes.
Fritz-Helmut Wisch is Professor for Remedial and Special Education at the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg (Germany), where he co-ordinates the degree programme Remedial pedagogy and Rehabilitation.
